Hey there, welcome to YulRun!
I’m an indie developer based out of Ontario, Canada. Like a lot of folks doing this, I’m juggling a few things at once. I work a full-time job and I’m a full-time dad, so I squeeze in my indie development hours wherever and whenever I can between home life and work.
If you’re wondering about the name, it actually comes from an old MMORPG joke. I used to play a “Yul Archer” and used a custom in-game title to make a pun out of “I’ll win or you’ll run.” It stuck with me, and when it came time to lock down a domain for my software work, YulRun.dev just felt right.
I build a mix of games, open-source tools, and random tech projects. To keep things organized around here, I’ve broken the site down into three color-coded divisions. You’ll spot the colors on the logos as you explore:
- Blue (Labs): This is where I share my developer tools, frameworks, and open-source Godot Engine addons.
- Crimson (Studio): This is the home for my actual game development projects and playable indie titles.
- Gold (Forge): This is my personal tech sandbox for R&D, experimentation, and trying out new software ideas.
Feel free to look around and check out whatever division catches your eye!
